Member Activities

Out and About

This session is held mid-month on a Saturday, we normally meet in the centre of
Nottingham. We go to one of the splendid parks in Nottingham, especially in the warmer months! Or on a trip to visit venues like the Nottingham Contemporary.

Craft Group

Our craft group is held at the end of each month on a Saturday; our members get

together with staff and volunteers to complete craft projects. Throughout the year we do themed crafts for the holidays e.g.,

Christmas Card making in December. Our volunteers also put on a tech session, our members spend 1-2-1 time with a volunteer where they can ask questions and learn

how to use features on their phones, computers and tablets. Whether that be how to use social media or how to look out for scam messages. Tea and coffee are always in constant supply during our sessions of course!

IT Sessions

Each month at our craft session we have a volunteer led IT session our members can ask for their help with learning how to use an aspect of technology and the internet. For example social media, smartphone apps, spam emails.

1-2-1 Sessions

One of the services that’s included in our membership fee is a monthly 1-2-1 session with our facilitator. They meet with our members in the community to do an activity or visit a place of their choosing e.g. photography

Mates and Munchies

Our weekday lunch club happens once a month, members meet in a café/restaurant in the city centre
