Derby Museum Trip

For the first time since the pandemic we went on a trip to the Derby Museum of Making in September this year!

Our members explored the exhibits of the museum, artifacts from different eras of manufacturing, engines, photos. The airplane engine and the disassembled car in the atrium were firm favourites.

We also sat by the river and enjoyed a cheeky Greggs together, getting everyones orders in was certainly a big task. This trip will be the first of a series of trips throughout our future years, as we have emerged from this pandemic we have been focused on rebuilding our services. Trips such as this are a step towards this effort. We hope in 2023 to visit places outside of Nottingham such as Leicester and Sheffield so watch this space!
